If in the garage you have used tires that have no use, it is possible to find them a second life. They will become a very design pouf that will fit perfectly in your living room or your room.
To achieve this result, you will need:
- From a tire
- From wooden circles
- Ropes
- From a glue gun
- From a drill
- From a cloth
- With a brush
- From a plaster pot
Step 1
The wooden circles must be the same size as the tire. So you can drill it three times at the perimeter as shown in the picture below.
2nd step
To fix the circle to the tire, you simply need to use screws.
Step 3
Now glue the end of the rope to the center of the previously fixed wooden circle.
Step 4
Simply wrap the rope around the center, taking care to apply glue. It must adhere perfectly to the surface and be maintained.
Step 5
You must complete this step to cover the entire surface of the circle by gluing the other end directly to the tire.
Step 6
You can now attach a circle to the other side while still sticking the rope around the edge of the tire.
Step 7
No need to cover this circle of wood since it is the base. It will not be visible. Then cut off the excess rope before gluing it to the tire.

With the brush, apply a first coat over the entire rope surface. Let it dry and apply it a second
